Casual and Dressy Plus Size Coats For The Season

by Janice on January 1, 2010

We all like to be casual and comfy.
When going to the office, that isn’t always an option.
We are more often then not, very uncomfortable in our choice of work clothes.
To make matters worse, we usually pair or dressy work clothes with a much to casual jacket.
Now with the weather changing, more then ever do we need a great coat for the day. We need one that is casual yet dressy enough for work; and one that is stylish enough to adhere to our full-figured bodies.
Plus size coats can be hard to find for us full-figured women that’s for sure.
It is difficult, and almost always costly, to find great, trendy plus size outerwear for a work day.
Good, quality plus size coats can make all the difference in you wardrobe.
Since winter is just around the corner, we need to start looking into plus size winter coats.
For a day at the office, you want to be trendy, fashionable, yet comfy.
Plus size ski coats are great for that believe it or not.
They are not only for the slopes you know. However, you don’t want to be dressing up in a great pair of slacks and a button down shirt with a puffy, down-filled ski coat. A thin, long, quilted ski coat is great for the office and to stay warm in the snow.
And of course, you can always wear it on the slopes!
Besides the snow, let’s not forge the rain.
Plus size rain coats are a breeze to find.
There are many fashionable, trendy rain coats that are great for work.
Make sure you purchase one that is insulated with thermal linings.
Also, make sure your rain coat is of nylon materials for a dressy yet casual look that you can even wear with jeans, and won’t get completely soaked in the rain.
Plus size hooded coats are also great for work and are casual and affordable.
Just that there is a hood doesn’t mean it can’t be dressy for the office.
First off, you wake up in the morning, get dressed, put your makeup on, and of course do your hair.
What fun is it when it is raining or snowing outside and your hair gets all wet and flat?
You would look terrible before you even walked in the door at work, am I right? Don’t underestimate the power of a great hooded coat.
This does not have to be a sweat shirt or anything.
A  good plus size coat will come with a hood. Most of the time, these hoods are detachable anyway so you can wear in rain or shine.
Remember, we don’t have to spend our entire paycheck just to buy a great coat.
In these tough economic times, we need to find a great coat that is affordable and dressy enough for work, and casual enough for a day at the park with Fido.
And with these coats, you can never and will never go wrong.
